The loft bed is low enough to accommodate toddlers as well as being practical for teenagers. The bed which includes a solid foundation has safety side rails and accommodates a standard mattress up to 7” thick. This product features a reversible configuration. Berg’s captain’s bed with drawers, cabinet and stairs can be set up with the stair to the left or right, simply decide on the configuration before set up and reverse stair end and chest and bed locations. 6 drawer chests – 23” deep drawers offer a whole bureau’s worth of storage. The drawer slides are sturdy and reliable. The slides have a stop position when extended making it safe and easy to put away clothes and everything you need to store. Berg’s signature staircase is a great feature. Replacing the old fashioned ladder, this innovative staircase with built-in drawers and a side shelf, offers practical storage space. The non-slip tread, a wide and roomy stepping surface, along with the handrail allows quick and safe access to the top bed. The stairs can also be used for sitting during reading or any other family & friend get together.
